Good music in one place

I do what everyone else does. I create compilations of songs I like. On the theory that others might care, and on the theory that it's late, but I don't want to sleep, I decided to make a list of mine.

All songs come from my personal collection; nothing downloaded from the net. That's kinda cheating. Albums marked Placeholder are either from albums I don't remember the title to and couldn't find, or are from compilation albums, and I'm not sure how to credit those. In fact, the entire Throwback and All-Ears Review Review Albums are from compilations.

Liner notes, explaining my thinking behind song choices and why I did it in the first place are to follow. Eventually.

Notes: The rules for this were rather simple. No "popular" works, a minimum of 10 songs, a maximum of 60 minutes. 22 (23?) different people contributed a lot of varied songs - I had heard maybe 5% of them. All in all, a fun project. If I were to do this again, it'd probably be a bit different; I'd use a studio version of "Sleeping Through Heaven", perhaps some easier to find songs than those off the All-Ears Review albums, but otherwise I'm happy about how this came out. It was worth the hours of upload to the net time so that this could be made.

Notes: Songs by other than the original artists, or not even by those that made the song famous. I think I still have enough to make a second mix, but that'll wait a while. The third column is, of course, the original artist.

Mail me with any comments you might have. I'd love to hear them.
