Mwhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
I take a lot of pictures. I used to take a lot more, and it became a rather expensive hobby. I used to always get duplicates of all the pictures and give them away to folks, which made this domain name highly appropriate.
I don't do that so much anymore. I still enjoy taking pictures, but expenses have led to not taking as many, and now that I have a scanner, I've just started putting the better ones online, and saving actual prints for special pictures and for what I can print out from my printer.
If you want to acquire copies of some of these pictures, feel free to email me, but I've always been bad about getting copies to people, even those who want to give me money.
Note about me: Generally I find myself doing event photography. I like and am frustrated by capturing the right moment. I do have plans for more abstract albums, but I'm not feeling a pressing need for any landscape photography right now.
Note about the albums: Most of these albums use thumbnails that are 150 pixels in their larger dimension (height or width appropriately). I think this is a reasonable compromise between page load time and ability to actually get an idea of if you want to look at the picture. I've only just started to make my default picture size 800 pixels in the largest dimension; many of the older pictures are as large as they were first scanned, minus whatever cropping I felt the need to do. Some thumbnails are at 100.
For those of you looking for my Folsom Street Faire or other pictures of a similar nature, I have a seperate Naughtier Pictures page now, just for them.
About my equipment (err...camera equipment, that is): I've used a Canon Elan IIe, with a Canon 380EX flash, and some mid-range lenses. I've used a fully manual body - most of the non-thumbnailed pictures were taken with that.
At the moment, I'm using an Olympus Stylus Epic - a non-zoom point and shoot, and an excellent camera, and also a Concord Eye Q non-zoom digital camera, which is not a very good digital camera. But if I can get it to cooperate, it seems to work ok.
Let me know what you think or just go to my personal home page.
